Our clinic continues to grow in many ways. We also want to thank you for your support and testimonials.
This months newsletter includes: What is it about New Zealand Herbals that makes it so special?
We promote information and understanding. This includes a comprehensive understanding about your symptoms and what they actually mean. Knowing the true cause of illness puts you "in the drivers seat".
"The majority believes that everything hard to comprehend must be very profound. This is incorrect, what is hard to understand is what is immature, unclear and often false. The highest wisdom is simple and passes through the brain and directly into the heart." - Victor Schauberger
Here at New Zealand Herbals we make a point of not being too complicated or bogging anyone down with useless or unproductive information. Basically, any symptom you may be suffering from is your body's attempt to heal - period!
You're not actually suppose to suppress it - it may be strange to say but you should actually bless it! It got you here and they will facilitate wonderful positive change in the future.
Our formulas are unlike anything else on the shelves. They contain vital and dynamic forces which facilitate and increase everything good that your body has been doing anyway since birth. These dynamic forces include (but aren't limited to):
We call this concept the ABC's of health - it is the key to all our remedies and the answer to treating what ever ailment plagues you.
If you are currently on a program then please remember to take your formulas regularly in the correct dosage and at the correct time.
We are currently working on a new web site - a project that began almost two years ago! We hope to complete the entire site by the end of this year.
Part of this project involves a new web based consultation service that you and your friends can use to conveniently check in. Even if all you want to do is re-order some of the formulas in your program - our new web site will save you a trip to our clinic (this is especially useful for all of you who live outside the Canterbury region).
Any ideas you might have regarding the web site would be greatly appreciated. Feedback from our customers has always been important to us, and we want to make our web site an informative and interesting place for everyone who visits. Please send your suggestions to website.ideas@nzherbal.com
A Little About Our Practitioners
New Zealand herbals currently has two practitioners, Michael McCammon who is a registered medical herbalist, naturopath, and iridologist, and Chris Toki who is a graduate of the Canterbury College of Natural Medicine. They have been working together now for four years.
Both Chris and Michael have a very similar philosophy that involves a simplistic approach and follows the "old" laws of "nature cure". Inside all of us there is a place which never gets sick, never gets old, and never dies. We "talk" to this place in you and remind this power of its very existence.
We treat the whole you, your Body, Mind, and Spirit. All three must be addressed for true healing to occur.
Chris is available every afternoon from 1:00PM to 4:30pm as well as Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Michael is available from 9:30AM to 12:00pm Mondays to Thursdays.
For an appointment with any of our practitioners please email us on office@nzherbal.com or phone us on (03) 332 1786.
True healing involves an attitude of the mind as well as the physical treatment of an ailment. Perhaps the following agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz (from the book with the same name) could help you change your life:
1. Be Impeccable With Your Word Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using words to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your words in the direction of truth and love.
2. Don't Take Anything Personally Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dreams. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.
3. Don't Make Assumptions Find the courage to ask question and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
4. Always Do You Best Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstances, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret. - Don Miguel Ruiz
We find it constantly amazing that so many people do not have healthy bowels. We often get asked "how should a bowel function?" - the answer is, your bowel should move twice a day and be the consistency of a ripe banana - and yes, ideally it should float.
This means that the individual is consuming an adequate amount of soluble and insoluble fiber and all the upper organs of digestion are functioning correctly. The six meter tube which is our bowel has a lot of folds and can easily accumulate toxic debris.
These debris are similar to the plaque that forms onto the surface of our teeth. Plaque can destroy the hardest substance in the human body so guess what it could do to our organs, tissues, glands, cells and even bone?
Lets here what the bowel has to say...
The Boss
Once upon a time, the brain, eyes, nose, mouth, stomach, legs and bowel were arguing as to who should be the boss.
The brain said: "I do the thinking, so I should be the boss" The eyes said: "I keep the vision, so I should be the boss" The nose said: "I do the smelling, so I should be the boss" The mouth said: "I feed the body, so I should be the boss" The stomach said "I do the digesting, so I should be the boss" The legs said: "I take all the weight, so I should be the boss"
Then the bowel started to speak and they all laughed at him.
So the bowel closed up.
The brain went foggy. The eyes went cloudy. The nose became blocked up. The stomach became blocked up. And the legs went wobbly.
So they all agreed that the bowel should be the boss.
The moral of all this is simple: you don't have to be a brain to be the boss!
The point is that it is critical that your bowel is in a healthy shape (often this simply involves a change in diet) - it is one of the main passage way for your body to eliminate toxic wastes, accumulation of this waste can potentially lead to disease, a feeling of tiredness and whole host of other ailments.
