New Zealand Herbals is like no other organization. We do not treat our patients like numbers. We understand that each one of us is unique with our own skills, abilities and personalities.

Therefore, each disease as it manifests itself within the body is unique. We approach illness on a "whole person" basis.

For this reason no one practitioner is right for everybody. We have three practitioners working at our clinic.


	Michael J. McCammon N.D. Medical Herbalist, Iridologist & Naturopath Michael is an experienced naturopath, iridologist and is a registered medical herbalist. He has been working with the healing power of nature in clinical practice for over twenty-five years. His interests include history, archaeology, permaculture, and the use of herbs and nutrition to help individuals realize the power "hidden" within both themselves and the natural world of trees, shrubs and herbs. Michael's system of healing is simple yet profound in action. He has seen countless patients who were on the brink of death and with his help have managed to achieve a full recovery.

	Nicolien de Vries Medical Herbalist Nicolien has recently joined the Natural Health Centre of New Zealand Herbals. She has lived in New Zealand for 7 years and has worked as a natural health consultant, colon therapist and herbalist since finishing her studies in Natural Medicine in 2003 (Christchurch), and was a (medical) secretary and management assistant for 14 years previous to that in the Netherlands. Her special interests are women's health, digestive health as well as diet and nutrition. She loves good and healthy food and educates people about acquiring good health through food and of course herbal medicine. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, travelling, spending time in nature, walking and reading.

	Marie Grant Receptionist Marie is the secretary in sole charge of the main office of New Zealand Herbals. Marie oversees the myriad of tasks involved in office work. Marie's own experience in the miraculous healing powers of herbal medicine is one of the fundamental reasons why she came to work for us. Through the use of our products she has regained fullness and abundance of life.

	Alexander Brouwer Software Engineer Alex is currently working in conjunction with Michael on a number of software programs designed for both practitioners and patients alike. A qualified programmer, he has experience in designing Windows application using the .NET framework but also works with languages such as VB.Net, Java, C, Pearl, JavaScript and HTML. He is responsible for a number of computer systems throughout the Christchurch region. Alex is always open for new and creative software ideas.
